Selection Process | Responsibilities/Compensation | Application

Application procedure:

Individuals interested in applying for the Andrew W. Mellon Visiting Professorship in Latin American & Caribbean Studies should submit the following (in English) to the Academic Program Coordinator at the Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies:

  1. a completed application form
  2. biographical statement (approximately one page) and curriculum vitae
  3. evaluations of your professional work (may include course evaluations from students or department chairs; awards; references or letters of recommendation, etc.)
  4. letter of reference/nomination from the Duke faculty sponsor
  5. statement of current research (approximately 1-2 pages)

Application Form . Applications for the spring semester of 2011 (early Jan - early May) are currently being accepted. The application period will close on January 15, 2010.
